Board Chairman
A board chairman is the leader of an association’s board of directors. They manage meetings, create agendas, and oversee organizational governance. Most board chairman roles require facilitation and decision-making, while others serve as liaisons between leadership and members. The chairman’s job is to keep the board accountable, compliant, and member-focused. An organization’s members elect the board chairman, who usually serves as a representative for the organization internally and externally.
