Service Organization Control 2 (SOC-2) standards are a standard for managing personal data. Organizations that comply with SOC-2—like Survey & Ballot Systems—follow five trust service principles outlined in this standard: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. SOC-2 compliance ensures an association’s voting systems and processes are secure, preventing unauthorized access or tampering.
