IT Security
IT security is part of IT risk management. It encompasses all aspects of protecting an organization’s digital assets, including member data. With IT security, associations create measures to protect their systems and data from unauthorized access, tampering, and cyberattacks. These measures include firewalls, encryption, antivirus software, access controls, and security protocols. The goal of IT security is to ensure the confidentiality of an association’s data and safeguard sensitive information related to members and elections.
