Founded in 1894, the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) is dedicated to advancing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration to serve humanity and promote a sustainable world.

Challenge:

With more than 52,000 members in over 130 countries, our election has become a time-consuming and costly process. In our industry, members have become sensitive to sustainable resource options and demand a smooth, efficient election process that isn’t going to take up their time. While I was using another well-known election company for some voting services, I was in search of a partner that could provide the whole package: manage our election from inception to results, simplify the ballot for our busy members and save us money in the process.

Since our switch to SBS, my trepidation with our annual vote has become nonexistent. Our board members and senior staff leadership are happy that I am able to focus on the management of our membership and customer service team, communications to members, training and retention.
