250 Cooperatives Served
Survey & Ballot Systems (SBS) proudly partners with more than 250 telephone, food, and electric cooperatives who utilize our innovative technology to streamline and modernize their nomination and election process.
Expanding on Cooperative Partnerships
Our growing roster of satisfied cooperative partners fuels our excitement for continued service offerings and technology advancements in the years ahead. As we chart the course for the future, our extensive suite of products remains poised to maintain its status as the premier solution for nominations, virtual meeting voting, and elections within the industry.
Our technology solutions are designed to help cooperatives easily navigate an ever-changing landscape of managing governance and allow them to focus on serving their members.
Digital Candidate Nomination Software
When a member is considering becoming a candidate, it’s vital to make it as easy as possible for them to throw their hat into the ring. Having to fill out reams of paper forms and pay to mail them, bring them in person or, even fax them back is a time-consuming requirement. Often times, even the most dedicated members don’t make it through the process.
Cooperatives can make it simple for interested members to declare their candidacy. With online candidate nominations and petition software, someone can easily self-register online, anywhere, any time. They can stop at any point in the application, save their work and come back to it later.
And, rather than having to manually collect and sort through applications, your cooperative can administer everything through the DirectNominations application – sending completion reminders to potential candidates, reviewing submissions and more.
Quick, easy and efficient – that’s how you want members to view your nominations process.
Live Voting in Cooperative Meetings
It’s a digital world, and with many meetings taking place online, cooperatives are seeking ways for board members to vote securely and confidentially in real-time during virtual meetings.
Using DirectVoteLive, participants simply sign-in and can begin voting during live meetings. Meeting hosts can take immediate roll call, begin and end meetings and open and close voting for action items. Board members can read, review meeting action items from anywhere on any device. And it all takes place in a secure environment, so no unauthorized access can occur.
Online Drive-Thru Voting
Over the past several years cooperative annual meetings have change dramatically. When some cooperatives were unable to hold in-person meetings, they partnered with SBS to revolutionize their annual meeting with drive-thru online voting.
During the designated drive-thru voting period, SBS kick-starts the process by establishing a database and a dedicated election website specifically designed for drive-thru voting. Rigorous testing ensures the functionality and reliability of the site and database before the voting begins. SBS maintains a vigilant watch over the ballot submission process, ensuring a smooth and secure voting experience for cooperative members.
Cooperative election officials oversee voting and distributing secure electronic ballots to members arriving at their respective drive-thru stations. Members easily cast their online ballots from the comfort of their vehicle. Read how Palmetto Electric Cooperative successfully implemented their drive-thru voting during their annual meeting.
More than 250 cooperatives rely upon SBS to increase member satisfaction, improve elections and make their nominations, boards and committee more powerful and effective – will your co-op be next?
