Combination Election

A combination election is also called a hybrid election. This type of election provides voters with multiple voting methods to increase participation. Combination elections can include in-person voting, mail-in ballots, and electronic voting options. The goal is to improve accessibility and remove as many barriers to voting as possible, ensuring all members can participate in the election process. It can be challenging to run a combination election, so it’s best to use a fully managed voting system to ensure a fair, democratic election.
