Jon Westerhaus founded Survey & Ballot Systems (SBS) in 1990 with the goal of providing innovative solutions to the data collection needs of businesses and organizations. With a passion for customer satisfaction, Jon created a company that is client-focused from beginning to end.
Six months later, Jon was joined by his brother Peter Westerhaus. The two have worked to build a company that reflects their core values of honesty, integrity and innovation. With a reputation for creating reliable and secure systems and building strong client relationships, SBS is recognized as one of the largest data collection and election management companies in the United States, with an increasing global presence.
Headquartered in Eden Prairie, MN, just 20 minutes west of the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport, Survey & Ballot Systems’ 20,000 square feet facility was designed to meet the most rigid security standards. Jon and Peter are proud of their company’s history and team of approximately 50 employees, who are each dedicated to carrying out SBS’s promise to provide complete customer satisfaction and innovative election solutions.
